FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and apparatus for measuring the characteristics of an explosion of an ammunition. Method for determining the characteristics of an explosion in a near zone using a loaded element in the form of a rod – magnitude of the pressure of the shock air wave (SAW) and pulse – is carried out by the results of action of a dilatational stress wave on the rod material initiated by the pulse action of the SAW directly onto its end. Loaded rod is pre-magnetized, and the result of the action of the dilatational stress wave on the rod is determined from the change in the magnetic characteristics of the material of the rod – directly from the change in the magnitude of the magnetic induction of the rod material, as well as from the change in the impedance of the measuring system, including the material of the rod. Device comprises a loadable element in the form of a rod disposed in a protective casing with the possibility of a small linear displacement. Protective casing and its elements are made of non-magnetic materials, the sensor element of the magnetometric converter-magnetometer is placed inside the casing near the rear part of the rod, and in the central part – a solenoid, covering the rod in its middle part with a minimum gap.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide multiple measurements of increased accuracy.
