FIELD: image forming devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an optical switch and an imaging system. Switch comprises an electrically controllable optical shutter configured to alternately transmit and block incident light rays, and prism array located on the optical shutter side opposite to the incident light ray side. Prisms in the prism array are separated from each other by a gap and are designed to deflect light rays passing through the optical shutter by a predetermined deflection angle. And the optical shutter is configured to operate in the first operating mode and in the second operating mode. In the first mode, the shutter is configured to pass light rays incident in the direction of the gaps between the prisms of the prism array and to block the light rays incident in the direction of the prisms themselves. In the second mode, the shutter is configured to block light rays incident in the direction of the gaps between prisms from the prism array and to pass light rays incident in the direction of the prisms themselves.
EFFECT: formation of high-resolution images without "lattice effect".
