FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises selecting a correction signal from the input signal by determining a repetition period of points in the input signal which are not related to useful signal component, performing an approximation of intermediate values, scaling the correction signal, and iteratively subtracting the correction signal from the input signal.

EFFECT: increased extraction efficiency of useful component from the input signal which contains useful information and noise which are in the same frequency band by means of reducing or completely eliminating distortion of useful signal form, while increasing the signal-to-noise ratio.
