SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the methods for isolating a useful signal from an input signal containing both a useful component and noise. For this purpose, a method is proposed for isolating a useful component from an input signal that implements a random process, containing a useful component and noise, in which, after the stage when the corrective signal has been isolated, it is divided into fragments in the time domain and a region is found within which the number of intersections by the trajectory of the selected correction signal and the average level of the input signal are proportional to the correlation coefficient of the useful component and noise, and the fragment of the input signal thus found is used as a correction signal.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of isolating a useful component from an input signal containing a useful component and noise, which are in the same frequency range, by reducing or completely eliminating the distortion of the useful component shape while increasing the signal-to-noise ratio.
