FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: proposed to realise the technical effect is a method for isolating the useful component from an input signal implementing a stochastic process, containing a useful component and noise, wherein the method consists in filtering the input signal and isolating a correction signal from the input signal. A direct Fourier transform of the correction signal and the input signal is performed herein, and the amplitude spectrum of the correction signal and the phase spectrum of the input signal are calculated; wherein the original phase spectrum of the correction signal is discarded and substituted with the phase spectrum of the input signal, resulting in the spectrum of the correction signal being matched with the spectrum of the input signal; the inverse Fourier transform results in a noise signal, which is scaled and iteratively subtracted from the input signal.

EFFECT: higher effectiveness of isolating the useful component from the input signal.
