SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the handling of traffic flows. Method of transmitting information is carried out in the service policy management node for information transfer and contains: the assignment of the setting parameter of a label identifying: a label, a specific traffic flow that will pass through a program-defined network (SDN), and one or more destinations for a particular traffic flow; transmitting information indicative of the label- setting to the SDN controller configured to create a path for the traffic flow through the SDN based on the mark and mentioned one or more destinations identified by the label- setting parameter; the purpose of the filter setting parameter, determines that a particular traffic flow must be associated with a label-setting; and transmitting information indicative of a filter setting to a categorizing node configured to receive a particular traffic flow and establishing a connection of a particular traffic flow with a label.

EFFECT: technical result is to provide an improved processing of traffic flows in the communication system by directing the traffic flow through a set of services based on the label-setting.
