SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an adjustable headrest for a car seat. Headrest comprises a head support which is designed with the possibility of locking with the seat back structure a guide tube for the movable direction of the head support in the direction of travel. In this case, the guide tube comprises a rotatable driven rod and a release slider which is designed with possibility of axially deflection between the inoperative position and the actuation position by rotating the driven rod in the guide tube. Moreover, in the actuation position, the release slider moves the locking member to the unlocked position, in which the locking member stops locking the guide tube with the seat back structure. Headrest also contains an actuating bar, guided in the head support, for rotating the driven rod.

EFFECT: easy adjustment of the headrest is achieved.
