FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: newly introduced in proposed device is rotary lever secured on loose end of support kinematically coupled with conductor under check and with stiff link whose end is essentially metering sector in the form of code scale; the latter has sensing member in the form of L-shaped rocking lever secured on crossarm support for turning about axis and aligning its larger arm carrying control weight and reading member coupled with modulator in metering sector plane; generated across modulator output passive members is MELTING WANTED high-frequency signal indicating maximal ice load within measurement range set by control weight according to initial load on crossarm in absence of ice; onset of ice formation is detected by variation in amplitude of high-frequency information medium across conductor under check; onset of emergence ice load formation is predicted by variation in amplitude of high-frequency information medium from supervisory control station.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of measuring maximal ice loads including measurement of its absolute values by their components chosen in desired scale in absence of ice, facilitated prediction of emergency ice onset from supervisory control station.
