FIELD: electric power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electric power industry and can be used for the overhead transmission lines (OHTL) condition monitoring, namely, the ice-wind loads measuring and the operation temperature mode monitoring. Claimed device for the overhead transmission lines condition monitoring consists of fixed on the wire optical target, video camera, installed on the support and connected to the information processing unit, located at the remote monitoring center data collecting and analyzing computer system. Wherein the device contains an additional video camera. At that, these cameras are equipped with the horizontal position stabilizing device, are oppositely directed and oriented to the fixed on each incoming and outgoing wire targets, as well as the installed on the OHTL support tower weather station. Additional video camera and weather station are also connected to the information processing unit.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in provided to the overhead transmission lines operator during the ice-wind effects period the OHTL condition quantitative assessment accuracy.
