FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the vehicles electrical equipment. Device for the car battery disconnection in the current consumption emergency mode contains contact group activation and deactivation fixing device, manual “ground” switching on/off button, electromagnet and the “ground” electric remote switching on/off button. Device is equipped with the Hall sensor mounted on the car's starting system starter wire, which in contactless manner measures consumed by the starter current. There are also comparator monitoring the starter current consumption emergency mode, connected with the insulation breakdown or short circuit in the starter circuit and triggered with its exceeding, signal from the comparator amplifier and electromagnetic relay, which, when it operates, by its contacts controls the VK-860 switch electromagnetic part, and disconnects the vehicle's “ground” from the battery negative terminal.
EFFECT: enabling the electric starter circuit closing control automation.
