SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of troubleshooting in discrete dynamical systems based on a change in input position. To find the faulty unit, the number of units of the system is recorded, monitoring time is determined, number of control points of the system is recorded, reaction of a known serviceable discrete system is pre-registered in time, test signal is set in a certain way, integral estimates of the outputs are determined, the system with the nominal characteristics of the is replaced by the monitored system, determining, in the manner indicated above, integral estimates of the outputs, deviation of the outputs and integral estimates from the nominal values is determined, diagnostic features are determined, defect is determined by minimum of the diagnostic feature.
EFFECT: computational costs associated with implementation of deviations of model signals with changed position of input is reduced.
