FIELD: operations performed with a liquid.

SUBSTANCE: hand-held flow metering device 10 for dispensing a pressurised fluid comprises valve 26, flow meter 28, trigger lever 20, trigger release mechanism 30 and meter electronics 84. Valve 26 is connected to the pressurised fluid to regulate flow of the pressurised fluid through device 10. Flow meter 28 is disposed within the flow of pressurised fluid to measure volumetric flow of the pressurized fluid. Trigger lever 20 is configured to be manually displaced to mechanically open valve 26. Trigger release mechanism 30 is connected to trigger lever 26 and is selectively actuated to mechanically prevent trigger lever 20 from opening valve 26 when trigger lever is displaced 20. Meter reading electronic system 84 is connected to flow meter 28 and release mechanism 30 for actuating descent release mechanism 30 based on flow meter 28.

EFFECT: present invention is directed to a hand-held flow metering device for dispensing a pressurised fluid.
