SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication. For this, method comprises sending of one or more PDCP units to the second network site on network node interface, each of one or more PDUs having associated PDCP sequence number and associated sequence number, characteristic for network node interface, and sequence numbers, characteristic for network node interface, assigned by network site. Method further comprises receiving feedback from the second network site.

EFFECT: technical result is creation of feedback mechanism that helps to balance datastream between main and second points of network and ensures, that for split unidirectional links, main point of network does not use more than half of the packet data block (PDU) sequence number space of the packet data convergence Protocol (PDCP).
