FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic equipment, namely to dispenser cathodes (DC) of microwave electronic devices. In the end part of the dispenser cathode, made in the form of a body of refractory metal, a tungsten sponge is immersed, wherein the tungsten sponge is impregnated with an active substance – barium-calcium aluminate with the ratio CaO – 4.9 %, BaO – 76.6 %, Al2O3 – 18.4–18.3 % with the addition of an aqueous solution of carbon nanocluster sulfo-adducts at a concentration of 6 g/l (in an amount of 0.1 to 0.2 wt%), coated with an Os+Ir+Al layer from the outside, consisting of an annealed tungsten powder of fraction B (in an amount of 99.3 to 99.8 wt%) and a toroidal-shaped powder of polyhedral nanoparticles of fulleroid type in an amount of 0.2–0.7 wt%.
EFFECT: invention provides improved durability and density of current collection.
