FIELD: electronic equipment.
SUBSTANCE: according to invention, method includes press fitting of tungsten powder into molybdenum cartridge, impregnation at the temperature of 1,700-1,800° in hydrogen of formed porous sponge with active substance with further removal of excessive active substance and generation of cathode emitting surface, at that tungsten powder is pressed at working pressure of Pwork=8-15 t/cm2 into cartridge turned from molybdenum bar with internal height sufficient for generation of porous sponge in it with allowance in respect to preset working thickness of sponge, which is ground off after excessive active substance is removed. Internal height of cartridge and sponge allowance are selected based on preset conditions.
EFFECT: production of dispenser cathode with higher reliability and durability with preservation of high emission properties.
