FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to firearms, in particular to the production of propulsive bullets intended for non-fatal or fatal mechanical damage. Shell traumatic bullet for rifled and smooth-bore firearms. This task is solved by placing a composite material, from which the bullet is made, into a paper shell having the shape of any standard blunt or pointed bullet. Present composite material is based on a silicone rubber with a vulcanizing ingredient, includes a mechanical filler and a dispersed powdered lead weighting agent. In this case, the blunt-ended bullet can have a paper ballast pre-embedded in the paper shell at the head, a paper-mache ball or ball bearing. Damage elements are introduced implemented to the composite: lead shot, ball bearings, steel rod or needles.
EFFECT: invention can be used as a projectile for rifled or smooth-bore small firearms of any systems with the possibility of modification into a partially fragmented bullet.
