FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of power engineering and concerns hybrid piston machines intended for alternating compression of liquid and gas. Such machine consists of piston 1 with drive mechanism 2 of a crank type, driven by shaft 3. Cylinder 4 has self-acting check valves 5 and 6, which are connected via slide valve 7 either to suction line 10 and gas injection line 12, or to suction line 11 and liquid discharge line 12. Spool pin 9 is moved by electromagnet 37 which is turned on or off by means of contacts 41 and 42, which are closed and opened by cam 17 strictly at the position of piston 1 at the top dead center. Cam 17 is fixed to pinion 22, which receives rotation from gear 21 fixed to shaft 3. Return of rod 9 occurs when contacts 41 and 42 are opened under action of spring 38. And the method of operation consists in that the change in the compressible working medium occurs when the piston is at the top dead center after the end of the injection process. Gas content in the compressible fluid decreases and vice versa, the range of gas/liquid productivity ratios is widened.
EFFECT: contamination of the compressible medium is significantly reduced, the efficiency is improved due to good cooling of the cylinder-piston group and the absence of friction in the piston-cylinder pair.
