SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the having continuous shaft mechanical machine operation method with the stages of: a) at least one of the solid shaft torsional oscillations mode natural frequency determination by calculation and arising during the oscillations mode period the solid shaft mechanical stresses torsional oscillations determination by calculation, b) determination, respectively, for each torsional oscillations mode ratio between the stress first amplitude, which occurs at the solid shaft position, which is subjected to stresses losses, and the stress second amplitude, which occurs at the solid shaft measurement point, based on the calculated for the corresponding mode stresses torsional oscillations, c) establishment of the stress maximum first amplitude for the position, d) based on the ratio, determining the stress maximum first amplitude corresponding to the stress maximum second amplitude for the measurement point, e) depending on the time, measuring the solid shaft stress during the solid shaft rotation at the measuring point, f) based on the measured voltage, the stress amplitude determination at each natural frequency, g) signal output in the case when the determined from the measured stresses the stress amplitude at one of the natural frequencies reaches the stress maximum second amplitude.
EFFECT: simplification of the load on the solid shaft determination by means of torsional oscillations.
