FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: technical solution relates to railway automation for heating railway switches. System includes a calculating unit connected to the meteorological data source, a control unit connected to the calculating unit, a switching device connected to the control unit, a railway switch heater connected to the switching device. Herewith the calculating unit is configured able to continuously request the weather data from the weather data source in preset time intervals, to continuously analyze them and continuously preset the schedule of optimum set temperatures, as the result of which the actual temperature of the railway switch is updated continuously and weather-sensitively. Control unit is configured able to adjust, at regular time intervals, the heater of the railway switch by means of the switching device basing on the schedule preset by the calculating unit, until the corresponding target temperature of the railway switch is reached.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the switches operation is achieved.
