SUBSTANCE: electric vehicle powerplant comprises: a battery (101); a battery heater (102) connected to the battery (101); a battery control device (103) connected to the battery (101) and the battery heater (102), respectively, and transferring the electric vehicle to the heating mode at driving or to the heating mode at parking in accordance with the temperature and the residual battery charge, when the battery temperature is lower than the first threshold heating value, and the residual battery charge is larger than the charge threshold at parking; a controller (106) of the engine respectively connected with the engine (105) and the electrical junction box (104); and a demarcative inductor (L2).

EFFECT: increasing the battery service life by controlling the battery heating mode according to the temperature and the residual battery charge, without restrictions on the electric vehicle use at low temperatures.
