FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalytic chemistry, in particular to methods for the oxidative regeneration of supported catalysts of aluminium oxide, and can be used for regeneration of spent catalysts for hydrotreating and hydrocracking of petroleum feedstocks. Unit for regenerating the hydrotreatment catalyst consists of a catalyst pre-screening unit, a coke burning unit, a cooling and sifting unit of the regenerated catalyst constituting an aerodynamic separator and a waste gas purification unit and during transportation can be divided into separate blocks with dimensions and weight, allowing them to be installed in the bodies of freight semi-trailers. Coke burning unit is an indirect heating drum furnace with a length of no more than 13 m with an adjustable inclination, including a casing and an internal perforated pipe, the inner surface of which is provided with notches, device for loading and unloading the catalyst and a device for monitoring the required parameters. In the upper part of the furnace casing, there are rolls that prevent the air from flowing upward. Thickness of the catalyst layer in the furnace is no more than 40 mm. Method for regenerating the hydrotreating catalyst includes feeding the spent hydrotreating catalyst to this unit, which is pre-transported to production and collected, and returning the regenerated catalyst to the hydrotreating process. In a drum furnace, both the removal of hydrocarbons from the spent catalyst with the oxidation of carbon and sulfur prior to regeneration thereof, and regeneration, for which hot air heated in the oxidation of carbon and sulfur are used, is carried out.
EFFECT: ensuring the mobility of the unit for regenerating the hydrotreating catalyst, which can be temporarily placed on factory site.
