METHOD FOR CATALYST REGENERATION AND INSTALLATION FOR ITS IMPLEMENTATION Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC B01J38/12 B01J38/02 B01J38/22 B01J8/10 F27B7/00

Abstract RU 2772593 C1

FIELD: physical chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and installation for the regeneration of catalysts. The catalyst regeneration method includes loading the catalyst into the firing unit, ensuring the angle of inclination of the firing unit at 10-15° with an angular rotation speed of no more than 7 rpm, gas purification of associated gases, turning on the burner with liquid fuel supply through the nozzle, heating the catalyst to 400°C and maintaining this temperature for 40 minutes with additional inert gas supply, switching off the burner and fuel supply and maintaining the supply of only inert gas for 25 minutes, re-switching on the burner with the supply of liquid fuel through the nozzle, heating the catalyst to 600°C and maintaining this temperature for 20 minutes with additional inert gas supply, turning off the burner and fuel supply and maintaining only inert gas supply for 10 minutes, unloading the regenerated catalyst. The catalyst regeneration unit consists of a loading unit, a firing unit, a gas purification unit, a compressed air supply unit and a liquid fuel supply unit. The firing unit contains at least one inert gas supply unit and is made with at least one burner containing at least one high-throughput nozzle designed to supply air and/or liquid fuel from compressed air and liquid fuel supply units, respectively.

EFFECT: ensuring the possibility of maximum recovery of the activity of catalysts at their first regeneration.
