SET FOR REGENERATION OF A HYDROTREATING CATALYST Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC B01J38/12 F27B7/10 B01J19/28

Abstract RU 2777598 C1

FIELD: physical processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a set for regeneration of a hydrotreating catalyst, namely, to rotary drum-type furnaces with a small inclination for regenerating catalysts by treating with a free oxygen-containing gas. Set comprises a unit for pre-sieving the catalyst, a coke burning unit made in the form of an indirect-heating drum furnace equipped with exhaust air lines, a unit for cooling and sieving the regenerated catalyst, and a waste gas purification unit. Electronic thermometers are installed in the drum furnace in order to monitor and control the regeneration process. Oxygen concentration and sulphur dioxide concentration sensors are installed in the exhaust air lines, and heaters are secured on the inner surface of the furnace body walls. Each of said thermometers and sensors is connected, via an operational amplifier, to the input of an analogue-to-digital converter of the microcontroller of the telemetry module equipped with a built-in USART synchronous/asynchronous transceiver, connected whereto is a radio module ensuring communication of the sensor with a remote automated control system, the power output whereof is connected to the heaters in order to ensure automatic control of the furnace heating. The automated system is based on a microcontroller, equipped with a radio module, an indication unit, and a data input unit.

EFFECT: possibility of automatic control of the technological process of catalyst regeneration and output of the measured values of the temperature inside the furnace, oxygen and sulphur dioxide concentration in exhaust air lines to the indication unit of the automated control system, as well as ensured controlled heating of the furnace.
