METHOD OF AT LEAST THE PARTIAL REMOVAL 0F THE CARBON-CONTAINING SEDIMENTS IN THE HEAT EXCHANGER Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC C10G9/16

Abstract RU 2303049 C2

FIELD: chemical industry; petrochemical industry; natural gas-processing industry; methods and the devices for removal of the carbon-containing sediments from the heat exchangers.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the method and the device for removal of at least partially the carbon-containing sediments from the heat exchanger. The invention also is pertaining to the installation of hydro-treatment. The method of removal of at least partially of the carbon sediments from the apparatus for the heat exchange between two fluid mediums, one of which is the hydrocarbon fluid medium provides that the given exchange apparatus operates at the maximum operating temperature less, than approximately 540°С, in the installation for realization of the process of the chemical treatment or the fractionating process, according to which the exchange apparatus is scavenged by the inert gas for removal of the considerable part of the hydrocarbons. Then realize the pre-heating of the exchange apparatus, expose to the oxidative treatment of the part of the carbon sediments present in the exchange apparatus, including one stage of the controlled oxidization at the conditional temperature being in the interval from 400°С up to 500°С during the interval of time at least of 4 hours by means of the oxidizing fluid medium containing mainly the inert gas from the group including nitrogen, the steam and their mixtures, and a small amount of oxygen. The temperature of the fluid mediums fed in the exchange apparatus or coming out of the exchange apparatus remains below 520°С during all the time of oxidization treatment. At that the difference of the temperatures of the working mediums at the hot end of the exchange apparatus remains below 120°С during all the time of oxidization treatment. The invention also presents the device for removal of at least partially the carbon sediments, and also the installation for the hydrotreatment of the hydrocarbons.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the effective removal at least partially of the carbon-containing sediments from the heat exchangers.
