FIELD: acoustics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the industrial acoustics. This is achieved by the fact, that in the single piece sound absorber with the volumetric sound-reflecting element consisting of rigid frame suspended by hooks on cables to the production building ceiling with located inside the frame acoustic-absorbing element, frame is made in the form of rectangular parallelepiped with the edges dimensions L×H×B, which ratio lies in the optimal range of values L:H:B=2:1:0.5, and the sound-absorbing element is made in the form of combined multi-layer sound-absorbing structure consisting of symmetrically arranged perforated walls, between which the three layers are arranged: central layer of complex shaped sound reflecting material, composed of evenly distributed hollow tetrahedrons, allowing to reflect the incident in all directions sound waves, and sound-absorbing layers from materials of different density symmetrically adjacent thereto, at that, each of the perforated walls has the following perforation parameters: holes diameter 3÷7 mm, perforation percentage 10÷15 %, and as the sound-absorbing material plates from the “Rockwool” type basalt-based mineral wool are used, or “URSA” type mineral wool, or of P-75 type basalt wool, or glass wool with glass felt lining, wherein on its entire surface the sound absorbing element is lined with acoustically transparent material, for example, EZ-100 glass cloth or “Poviden” type polymer.

EFFECT: increase in the noise suppression at high frequencies efficiency by introducing into the sound-absorbing element of located inside the perforated cylindrical busing shells sound-reflecting layers, which perform the soundproofing function at high frequencies.
