FIELD: electrical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical equipment and can be used for the three-phase alternating voltage conversion into the constant one with increased power factor and energy recovery. Converter contains main three-phase magnetically unbalanced transformer, for example, with three primary phase windings connected by the first group of the similarly-named terminals to the phase input terminals, with three secondary windings with unequal numbers of turns, each connected into the “star”, two back-to-back phase windings on one of its rods, each of which number of turns is equal to the quotient of the second and third “stars” windings number of turns differences division by two, and the similarly-named terminals are connected to the second and third “stars” opposite points, the valves successively connecting the first “star” to each of the other two “stars”, wherein the first “star” each phase winding output is connected to the three valves similarly-named electrodes, free electrodes of which are connected to the terminals of opposite phase windings of the second "star" and to the third “star” similarly-named phase winding terminal, output terminals between the other valves electrodes common points, combined in two dissimilar groups, to the corresponding electrodes of one of which the first “star” terminals are connected, and to the other are of the second and third “stars”, additional three-phase transformer, which winding is connected into the “star” and by the similarly-named terminals one group connected to the phase input terminals, and by the other terminals common point is directly to the main transformer primary phase windings similarly-named terminals second group.

EFFECT: technical result consists in the possibility of the power factor increasing by multiple of three consumed current three odd higher harmonics neutralization and reducing the difference between the linear current effective values and its first harmonic, as well as energy recovery due to its part, circulating between the main and additional transformers without the thyristors connection on the primary side.
