FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a medical equipment, namely to a patient interface element for supplying a flow of breathable gas to a patient, to a patient interface providing a flow of breathable gas to a patient, to a pressure maintenance system. Interface element comprises a wear indicator for indicating the wear of the element for a patient. Wear indicator comprises an elastic structure having a first color in an unloaded state and is configured to reversibly change its visible color upon stretching and subsequent returning to an unloaded state. Elastic structure is designed to indicate the wear of the element by manifesting the second color in an unloaded state, if the structure loses its elasticity. Second color is different from the first color. Patient interface comprises an interface element with a wear indicator. Pressure maintenance system comprises a pressure generator for creating a flow of breathable gas for supplying a flow of breathable gas to the interface. System comprises a patient interface comprising a wear element.
EFFECT: technical result is a reliable wear indicator that gives the patient a clear and understandable signal about the need to replace a part of the patient's interface.
