FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to novel method for producing asymmetric, so-called Yanusovian, inorganic particles. Invention can most effectively be used as a contrast agent to improve the quality of images of internal organs by means of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). According to the method, particles Au or Fe are placed in a sealed chamber separately from each other3O4, or γ-Fe2O3, or SiO2, or TiO2, or Gd2O3, containing surface -OH hydroxyl groups and a gaseous state modifier under reduced pressure and containing a fragment, intended for covalent binding with the functional groups of inorganic particles. As a fragment, a compound selected from the group:
, chloromethylsilane, triethoxyethyl silane, triacetoxymethylsilane, trichlorohexylsilane. Then pressure in the chamber for modifying the gaseous state is lowered and holding is carried out, providing the possibility of covalent binding of the modifier fragment to -OH hydroxyl groups of inorganic particles. After equalizing the pressure in the chamber with atmospheric pressure.
EFFECT: technical result: simplification of method, possibility of performing modifications of particles in one stage and at the same time excluding the use of combustible organic solvents and surfactants.
