SUBSTANCE: method comprises treating the surface of the fabric base with a composition comprising hydrophobic quaternary aminoamides in combination with other hydrophobic components and nonionic surfactants. Hydrophobic quaternary aminoamide is 20-99% based on the total weight of the composition. Hydrophobic component, other than the aminoamide, is mineral oil, vegetable oil, silicone oil, poly-α-olefins and/or mixtures thereof, which make up to 60% based on the total weight of the composition. Higher efficiency is achieved with a reduction in adhesion between the paper web and the fabric base.
EFFECT: invention relates to a composition and method for improving separation of tissue paper in such applications as methods for manufacturing toilet paper and paper towels.
