FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rail transport, in particular to the design of rail cars manual actuated parking brakes. Railway car parking brake contains manual drive and two arm levers. Manual drive is equipped with an additional geared sector, engaged with a worm and pivotally connected through the corresponding additional longitudinal tie-rod and two arm lever to railway car second carriage lever braking system. Connecting the railway car trolley carriages lever brake systems longitudinal tie-rods two arm levers are made box-shaped and complemented by the reinforcing vertical wall.
EFFECT: enabling increase in the railway car parking brake reliability and efficiency.
