FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the used at high power electrical connector. Electrical connection component for the machine cable is configured to transmit power with greater than or equal to 1 kV voltage levels. Component comprises at least one electrical conductor located for the electrical connection to the additional electrical conductor of another electrical connection component, and skin having inner region and having the machine cable end and the connection end. Electrical connection component also comprises located inside the skin at least two electrical insulating components. At least one of the electrically insulating components is arranged so, that conform to the second component shape, and each component is arranged to conform to the skin inner surface shape.

EFFECT: enabling reduction of the air amount inside the skin and reduction of the explosion risk and consequences.
