SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding and is intended for ships with hydraulic propulsion in order to provide reverse and controllability in the backward motion. Reverse-steering device of a hydraulic propulsion with a control system includes two vertical synchronous rudders fixed behind the nozzle, and a reversible choker of the bucket type, which has windows with external branch-pipes in the side walls, rotary hinged on the horizontal axis behind the nozzle. Computing device of the control system has an algorithm that, when the reversible choker is installed for the reverse, to the angles from the mean αmean+1 ° to the greatest αgr. automatically switches on a signal that provides, with the computing device, a change in the sign of the angles of deviation of the synchronous rudders on setting device (17) and the sign of the angular position of the synchronous rudders on indicator (18) by the opposite value to the actual sign of the angles of deviation of the synchronous rudders measured at the current time by sensor (14) of the angle of deviation of the synchronous rudders.
EFFECT: easier control over the ship and an increase in its safety are achieved.
