FIELD: rocket equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation & missile equipment, mainly to the designs of the nose radiolucent fairings, which are a shelter for seeker antenna devices from the aerodynamic action. Aerial fairing contains a ceramic shell, a metal butt frame, a thermal insulation ring and a domed radiolucent heat shield located inside the shell, connected to them by a heat-resistant adhesive. Shield is made in two layers, the outer layer of which is made of highly porous ceramic material based on quartz glass fiber, and the inner layer is made of heat-resistant fiberglass.
EFFECT: technical result is to ensure the operability of the fairing with a seeker antenna device in flights exceeding 10 minutes.
