FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to transport machine building. Wheelhouse cladding step assembly includes a step for coupling to a wheelhouse of the vehicle, a latching mechanism and a pair of swivel hinges. Step for coupling to a wheelhouse of the vehicle has a stepping surface and a finish surface, and moves between the closed and unfolded positions. Latching mechanism locks the step when the step is in the first closed position. Pair of swivel hinges is installed on opposite sides of the wheelhouse. Each swivel hinge comprises an expansion element, a connecting element and a spring mechanism. Wheelhouse cladding step assembly comprises said wheelhouse cladding step having a curved shape corresponding to the shape of the wheelhouse of the vehicle. Wheeled vehicle comprises a roof, a side and said wheelhouse cladding step assembly.
EFFECT: improved access to the roof of the vehicle.
