FIELD: motors and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the purification of exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine. Spark plug for exhaust gases contains a cochlea with tangential inlet and axial outlet nozzles. In the cavity of the cochlea there is a centripetal guide apparatus with blades curved in the direction of travel of the exhaust gases. Guide device is provided with a partition installed at the latter in the course of travel of the exhaust gases of the guide vane, with the formation of a gap with the inner surface of the cochlea. Ratio of the gap to the diameter of the cochlea is 0.018–0.035. Spark arrestor is provided with a box for fixing the gas supply line of the internal combustion engine installed in the inlet pipe and having a section of a constant cross section from the input side of the exhaust gases, and an expanding portion on the exhaust-gas exit side with an increasing cross-sectional area and an expansion angle β from optimal values β_opt=6–8° to close to 40°.
