SUBSTANCE: proposed spark suppressor has cylindrical housing, perforated inlet branch pipe and outlet branch pipe arranged coaxially and partly arranged in housing, and stopper located on end face of inlet branch pipe. Perforated part of inlet branch pipe has three zones. Perforation of extreme zones is made with tangential guides of trapezoidal cross-section arranged at angle of 35 deg, middle part is provided with round section holes with radial guides. Ratio of areas of tangential and radial perforations is 5:1, minimum. Stopper is made conical. EFFECT: improved efficiency of spark suppression, reduced hydraulic resistance. 2 dwg
