FIELD: security facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of safety and gas analyzers, namely to methods for detecting explosive and/or narcotic substances in the air. Invention is based on the analysis of ECoG of signals taken by electrodes implanted in the rat brain. At the first stage, the multilayer neural networks used are trained. This is ensured by the delivery of a certain odor, by removing the ECoG signal, by appropriately converting the signal and recording it. Result of training is the generation of an array of vectors consisting of an odor and the corresponding elements of the ECoG signal. Immediately during the measurement process, ECoG signals taken by electrodes are compared with the use of training systems and neural networks with the previously obtained array of vectors and a detectable odor is determined.
EFFECT: invention provides an improvement in accuracy, while eliminating the need to stimulate the brain of the rat in the learning process.
