FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention describes method for preparation of ipidacrine hydrochloride, hydrate comprising synthesis of ipidacrine-base followed by isolation by extraction and conversion to desired product, isolation of ipidacrine base is carried out by extraction with chloroform, and then obtained extract is treated with gaseous hydrogen chloride to acidic pH values and water in amount not less than equimolar, precipitate formed as desired product is filtered off and dried.
EFFECT: simplification of technological process for preparation of ipidacrine hydrochloride, hydrate, exclusion of stage of isolation of ipidacrine base from reaction mass of its synthesis, exclusion of filtration of ipidacrine-base and its drying.
