FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: inventions relate to radio engineering and can be used to determine the location of radio emission sources (RES) of a flight-lifting device (FLD) in a goniometric way. Technical result is achieved by performing calculations in a geocentric coordinate system that does not require the measurement of elevation angle. This operation is performed analytically, which determines the high speed of the calculations. In addition, selective (in two stages) processing of the input data stream allows to further increase the speed of their analysis while maintaining the accuracy characteristics. RES coordinate determining apparatus implementing the method comprises a two-channel phase interferometer, nine calculators, eight memory units, a radio navigator, FLD angular orientation device, the comparison unit, the decision block, the coordinate calculating unit, the eleven input set-up buses and the output bus, connected in a specific manner.
EFFECT: technical result is reduced time spent on determining the coordinates of the RES.
