FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: first, distinctive features of guarded objects are registered. Movable direction-finding station on airborne vehicle (AV) is equipped with a video camera that is controlled with an onboard direction finder. When the guarded movable object (GMO) supplies an alarm, the nearest receiver-transmitter units receive that alarm and retransmit it to the central control station that determines the GMO location according to the location of those receiver-transmitter units and shapes the command for movable direction-finding station to fly by AV to that area. After takeoff, MDFS measures distance, location, spatial orientation of AV, as well as preliminary coordinates of GMO by considering the mutual orientation of antenna system of direction finder and AV, as well as AV spatial orientation. Measurement accuracy is improved due to guidance of video camera by means of onboard direction finder in real time mode. Location coordinates of GMO are converted to spatial parameters {θij,βij} considering the current AV location, its spatial orientation and orientation of video camera.
EFFECT: monitoring of movements of guarded movable objects with simultaneous reduction of prime cost of the system is provided.
