FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method is based on the usage of technological workplace (TWP) of electronic radio-montage, located in the mobile repair and diagnostic complex (RDC) and containing in its composition a soldering device with replaceable nozzles. On the TWP table surface, an integrated circuit positioning device (CP) is installed to replace faulty CPs in ball-point housings (BGA-type housings). Positioning device contains two perpendicular guides placed above the TWP fixed on the circuit board. After dismantling from the faulty CP board, the guides are moved over the circuit board with the restriction of the installation location of the serviceable CP, replacing the dismantled faulty CP. After installation into the positioning of the installed CP, the guides are fixed. In the limited position guides, install a working CP and mount it to the board using a soldering device that is part of the TWR wiring.

EFFECT: technical result is increasing productivity during repair.
