FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a press sleeve for a press coupling in the manufacture of a sealing, one-piece pipe joint with mounting portion (4) for mounting coupling body (6) and with clamping portion (8), the inner diameter of mounting portion (4) being adapted to the outer diameter of coupling body (6), and wherein the inner diameter of clamping portion (8), at least portions smaller than the outer diameter of coupling body (6). In the mounting portion (4), fastening tab (10) is provided capable of being wedged inwardly, a spring elastically in radial direction (R), and mounting tab (10) has free end portion (12), which extends in the non-wedge state of fastening tab (10) in radial direction (R), at least in part, into the inner region of mounting portion (4).
EFFECT: press sleeve, a press coupling and the use of a press sleeve or press coupling are proposed.
