FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the method of obtaining mineral fertilizer and the most mineral fertilizer obtained from industrial utilization products, namely from fly ash of sunflower. Granular fertilizer consists of round granules that are formed from agglomerated water-soaked ash particles of sunflower husk. Granules have a denuclearized structure with a densified surface layer. Average strength of the granules is not lower than 4.0 MPa and the coefficient of softening is 2.2–2.6. Granular fertilizer is produced in a granulator mixer by forming raw granules consisting of sunflower husk ash with the addition of water. Next, pellets are pelletized on a pelletizer using water as a moisturizing component, allowing the granules to spontaneously roll over the side of the tray of the pelletizer.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain a qualitatively new mineral fertilizer whose round granules, without the use of seed slag particles, are formed from sunflower husk ash and have the desired properties – increased strength and softening coefficient, which leads to a faster degradation in the moisture contained in the soil.
