FIELD: cattle breeding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the composition, system and method for the production and use of whole algae as a food additive for animals. Methods for increasing of the unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids content in beef for human consumption includes the cattle feeding, without reducing of the other fodder amount given to the cattle, with the amount of algae effective to raise the unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids level in the beef.
EFFECT: inventions allow to produce and apply the algae based food additive for cattle to obtain a wholesome food product.
