ABSORBENT ARTICLE Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61F13/15

Abstract RU 2660303 C2

FIELD: medicine; hygiene.

SUBSTANCE: on liquid-permeable front outer sheet (3), a large number of small convex portions (7) protruding from the side facing the skin are formed; to this end, with respect to mesh sheet (3A) with open three-dimensional holes, where the surfaces on the tops of small convex portions (7) are open holes (8), relief machining is performed to form a large number of concave portions (9) with recesses on the side not facing the skin; wherein absorbent (4) is an airlaid absorbent, which has a five-layer structure in which layer (10A) of airlaid-type cellulose nonwoven material, layer (12) of highly absorbent polymer A, layer (10B) of airlaid-type cellulose nonwoven material, layer (13) of highly absorbent polymer B and layer (10C) of airlaid-type cellulose nonwoven material are stacked one by one, starting from the side of liquid-permeable front outer sheet (3); wherein layer (12) of highly absorbent polymer A used is a highly absorbent polymer which has a high water absorption rate, and layer (13) of highly absorbent polymer B used is a highly absorbent polymer with high absorption capacity.

EFFECT: absorbent article in which a mesh sheet with open three-dimensional openings is combined with an airlaid-type absorbent, wherein body fluid from the top surface of the mesh sheet with open three-dimensional openings can be rapidly absorbed by the absorbent and the amount of body fluid absorbed by the absorbent can be increased.
