SUBSTANCE: expandable structure for the absorbing article includes: sheet-like component (12S), which consists of one air permeable material (120) and comprises plurality of corrugations (80) spaced apart so, that in the lowered state they do not overlap; and the sections (85) between the corrugations overlapping in the state where the corrugations (80) are lowered; and elongated resilient and elastic members (90) between the corrugations (80) opposed surfaces (80a and 80b), along the corrugations (80) longitudinal direction. Fastening the corrugations (80) continuously or intermittently in the corrugations (80) longitudinal direction so, that at least the lower portions (81) opposite surfaces (80a and 80b) were not spaced from each other. Corrugations (80) outer surfaces are not fastened to the sections (85) between the corrugations, except for the corrugations (80) both longitudinal ends. Resilient and elastic members (90) are positioned further to the distal ends, than the corrugation (80) base portions (81), and at least both parts of the ends are fixed between the corrugations (80) opposite surfaces (80a and 80b). Corrugations (80) and the sections (85) between the corrugations are compressed with the resilient and elastic members (90) contraction.
