ABSORBENT STRUCTURE AND ABSORBENT MATERIAL Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61F13/534

Abstract RU 2671059 C1

FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to absorbent structure (1) and an absorbent article comprising such an absorbent structure. Absorbent structure (1) with group (2) of the layers connected to each other comprises a first outer absorbent layer (3) of airlaid material, a second outer absorbent layer (4) of airlaid material and layer (5) for accumulating fluid from the airlaid material disposed between the first and second outer absorbent layers, the airlaid material of first outer absorbent layer (3) comprising first cellulosic fibers (6), airlaid material of the second outer absorbent layer (4) comprises second cellulosic fibers (16), and the airlaid material of liquid storage layer (5) comprises third cellulosic fibers (7) and superabsorbent constituents (8), wherein first and second cellulosic fibers (6, 16) have a pH value lower than third cellulosic fibers (7), and the pH value of first and second cellulosic fibers (6, 16) is less than 5.0.

EFFECT: it is an object of the invention to provide an absorbent article having both absorbent properties and properties that provide a reduction or containment of microorganism growth, providing the user with a high degree of comfort in use.
