By embossing the side of the front face of liquid-permeable front outer sheet 3 along recessed absorbent portion 20 and recessed portion 20 of the absorbent, embossed portion 21 is formed, while providing a smaller embossment width than the width of the groove of recessed portion 20 of the absorbent.
