FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for the manufacture of thermocouples used when conducting thermal tests of structures with the need to measure temperature with a minimum error. Each of the two current leads of the welding device consists of two interconnected plates and contains an electrically insulating heat-resistant insert. Current-discharge unit is connected to the current leads. One current lead fixed in the housing is stationary, and the second – with the ability to move on a sliding fit. One of the plates of each electrical power supply has a groove of a radius profile with the formation of a guide channel to accommodate welded wires in it, the width of which ensures their sliding. Clamp for the welded wires repeats the channel profile.
EFFECT: device provides easy coordination in space of butt-connected thin wires from dissimilar materials, while in the welding process they have the ability to move towards each other, which allows you to choose the minimum welding force.
