SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of creating and transmitting an electronic cash receipt. In the method, input of the commodity information is performed by means of a cash register input device and by means of conversion of this information into a digital data stream, which is transmitted through the serial port to the controller port and from which, using the controller, a file is created that is an electronic cash receipt, which is stored on the internal drive of the controller, which activates an interactive graphical user interface on the information display and input device, with the help of which users request an electronic cash receipt and establish a wireless connection of their portable device with the controller, at the command of which the electronic cash receipt is sent, and its reception and display on the screen of the user's portable device is provided under the condition of a one-time preliminary download and installation of a software providing a protected wireless communication mode, further, the user transmits an acknowledgment of receipt of the electronic cash receipt to the controller, which transmits the user acknowledgment in the form of a digital signal to the cash register.
